The Newham Health Debate

SPEAK TODAY

The Newham Health Debate is a unique opportunity for you to play a big part in shaping the future of Newham’s health services. To do this we want you to tell us what you like about it, how you use it and what you’d like to see improve in the future. Any ideas, comments or suggestions – we’re listening and acting.

SHAPE TOMORROW

The first stage was a survey, which was widely distributed throughout the borough for Newham residents to complete. This has now closed and to date we have received over 3000 completed surveys from local residents. Thank you to everyone who took part – the results will help us to shape the future of health services in Newham.

Next up was a day of health care workshops, where we sat down with Newham residents to hear in more detail what you would like to happen. These took place on Saturday 20th September – thank you again to those of you who came along.

The next stage was a live question-time style debate, held in Stratford on Wednesday 8th October. Residents were able to put questions to the people who are directly involved in managing and making decisions about local health care.

Although no more Newham Health Debate events are currently planned, our work is far from over. Keep an eye on this website for further updates as the consultation progresses.
